Tranquility, beauty and exclusivity, is how we can best define Guajiru, one of the four beaches of Trairi, on the west coast of Ceara, about a 130 km from the capital and it’s international airport. The word Guajiru, which gives the place it’s name, is of  indigenous origin and is also the name of a sweet tasting fruit found abundantly in the sand dunes of the region. It’s beach is one of the most sought after by travellers in search of peace and harmony with nature. Pleasant for a swim, for it’s warm waters, apart from attracting lovers of water sports, such as kite and wind surfers. The white sands and vibrant coconut groves, the sea with it’s warm waters and natural pools of a lovely blue, turn the surroundings enchanting and inviting for the release of stress brought on by the routine of large urban centers.
